Aftershock's Biography

The Music
Aftershock performs some of the greatest classic rock and jazz fusion of the 70s, 80s and 90s...electrifying music that brings any venue to life, from clubs and private parties to outdoor concerts and festivals.

The Players
The band was formed in 1994, with each member sharing a common affinity for high-energy, complex, yet melodic music such as The Steve Morse Band and Dixie Dregs, Jeff Beck, The Allman Brothers Band, Rush and Carlos Santana. In 1996, the band was introduced to violinist Arty, a Juilliard graduate and multiple Grammy Award winner who had performed with the likes of Rod Stewart, The Moody Blues, Roger Daltrey, Plant and Page, ELO, and Luciano Pavarotti. Arty's electric "Swiss cheese" violin completed the band's sound, while enabling the musicians to tackle an even more challenging selection of music including Kansas, ELO and Frank Zappa.

The Show So Far
Aftershock's popularity has steadily grown in the tri-state area, with a slate of performances ranging from clubs in suburban and Center City Philadelphia, to a prominent nightclub in Princeton, NJ, to a Lehigh Valley ski resort, to appearances at the Philadelphia Singer-Songwriter Festival and the Lambertville, NJ Shad Festival.
